Remote Support
We provide remote support easily and quickly to customers with a working Internet connection. We use an industry leading product called GOTO Assist® to connect to your computer one time, or as often as you like. Our connection does not require you to do anything except follow a link in an email which connects you to us. We can then chat by phone or by computer to solve your problems and provide advice.
How does it work?
When you connect to our GoToAssist support sessions, it downloads a small, self-installing plug-in, which allows us to view your desktop, share control of the mouse and keyboard and perform remote-support tasks. During live support sessions you can retake control of your computer just by moving the mouse.
Is it secure?
You can trust GoToAssist® remote-support solutions because they have end-to-end Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption. No unencrypted information is ever stored on any intermediate connection.
How does it get through my Firewall?
It doesn't need to. We are using the same architecture as your Internet browser. If you can browse the Internet we can connect to you.
What does it cost?
A one-day connection costs $15 to connect, which can be used for as many connections as needed for the following twenty four hours. Our support costs are charged at $75per hour inc GST.
